There are thousands of anecdotes that I could share. My best is the look of shock on one of the IV member's face when I asked him to escort one of the lawmakers who attended the Monday evening reception dinner. We couldn't believe that we see him on C-Span and he is standing next to us and supporting our cause.
- Can you imagine the feeling when a lawmakers says I know about you guys. You are doing a good job. This shows we are visible in the Hill.
- I felt great when I saw the confidence on the smiling faces of IV members when they came out of lawmakers meetings. For those who missed this historic opportunity, I can't even begin to explain the change in mindset from the initial apprehension about visiting a lawmaker's office to, "Why do I only have three meetings set up, I want to fill in for others IV members who might not have shown up due to various reasons"
For those demanding immediate results when they themselves might not have showed up at the rally the answer is, we will get our green cards eventually. There is absolutely no doubt about that in my mind but these experiences and memories will be cherished for a long time. This is also important to me. This new "experience capital" which was initially present among just the core members has trickled down to other members, we are growing in strength and reach our goal soon.
I am glad I went for three days. I wish I could stay longer.

The recurring payment is a nice idea, however the options are limited.
For e.g. I tried to revise mine to $25 from $20, there's no option to do so.
I will probably cancel this subscription and setup one from my bank.
$25, $50, $75, $100 are ideal amounts. I don't know if PayPal charges for each subscription option you create(I would think not).
Please chew on it and and implement, if you think it's good.

Has anyone started fundraising yet??. I did not. I need to work on recruiting 6 more people atleast into Team IV. We should have 50 people for the Cal. Event atleast. I need to work on the networking events as well

While reading the previous posts I saw that adtisement was on DOL for 30 days before filing PERM. Is that the rule? My lawyer waited for 60 days before sending the application.
Also does the country of origin has any impact on the processing time?

:(:(I need some help. I am a non substanially comparable position candidate and I have been aduited. The CO mentioned that my job seems similar and want me to provide more information on my job duties so my manager and I worked together to ensure that my jobs were different to meet the requirements and I resubmitted my case. Does anyone know what the DOLs view on substainally comparable position candidates? Am I likely to get denied? I am in the a position that is not the typical IT role but working with HR and wanted to know what the DOL's response might be and if i am likely to get denied. Also, I am a fragormen client who is recently being audited so I'm nervous. Can you anyone help me??!?!?!

I've already signed up for monthly contribution...and sent LogicLife's mail as a wake up call for all the fence sitters and freeloaders.
I can relate with anurakt's feelings...it's amazing how penny wise pound foolish people can get!
Come on guys, I have introduced at least 8 friends to IV and (almost) forced then to contribute :) Let's all get 2-3 members and persuade them to contribute.

Somebody in the rally in fact remarked that our green T-shirts matched the idea of getting green cards...;)

We can look at overtime work done by uscis and draw an estimate what it take for them for processing our 485 this october. Then we could send Pizza for overtime workers.
