how many of us actually care much about aperture...?
The ones who use it... Like me!
If you're not interested, why bother to post.

Thanks this is awesome little widget. Thanks for taking time to make it. :)
Hey I just downloaded the widget for Tiger and it just comes up Blink and says Overclockers Australia  Am I doing something wrong? I have the team name entered in correctly in the back.

The NDS (at least in the UK) launched with Mario 64 DS and Wario Ware Touched, two great games rated 85 and 81 by metacritic.com respectively.
The 3DS has Street Fighter.
I forgot about those two and with Mario 64, I recall hating the touch-screen analog stick, so never completed it. Wario Ware was fun though and that's a game I borrowed. But the rest, bleh! I played Zelda Minish Cap on my DS when I first got it and then finally finished Zelda LttP(GBA), so at least I had games to play that I enjoyed.
Won't be buying Street Fighter, Capcom is on my shite-list, oh and I've always hated playing fighter games on any portable. :o

They don't really need a reason besides pretty much every consumer camera using SD media these days.
Was it really that long ago? Time flies, eh? Anyway.... They could have added it to the Mini back then quietly and without redesigning the whole case, similar to the way that the 5th USB port was added, if it was to satisfy photographers.
And they didn't need to immediately go to the top end SDXC.... most consumer cameras aren't using those cards yet. Once the low or middle speed SD card reader was added, it would have been easy to upgrade it to the top end SD card reader in a few years when those cards were more widely used. This would have been more in line of Apple's philosophy of increasing specs and features and keeping prices down. i.e. Today's new Mini has plain SD card reader, and in a year they "add" the faster reader to make a "new" new Mini.
I think there is something more to this... we'll just have to stay tuned, eh?

Things I have learned from this is Democrats have no balls and really need to grow some..
GOP as crappy as they are have figured out that they an play hard ball and get what they want with no compromise. Democrates always give. I been saying it for a while Democrats have been needing to dig their heals in.
honestly i though they should of shut it down in March. Hell Democrats should of passed a budget back in September when they controlled both the House and the Senate.
This budget crap effects me directly because I want an internship here at NASA and they know they are going to have them. All the budgets have that. Problem is they can not higher and get them until budget is passed. It has been in a holding pattern now for months.
We need to end this endless holding pattern.

I used Cool Edit a lot in college to do radio drops etc. I loved it. It was really just a wav editor. Then Adobe bought it, and I haven't used it since. Although It seems they kept true to the heart of the software. I still prefer what is now called Adobe Audition over Soundtrack. Although, they really are pretty different.

When Apple aired those Intel ads of the Intel fab plant talking about dull PCs, a lot of PC users got angry over that. There was quite a backlash against Apple when they do negative advertising like that, simply making PC users look stupid (which they are of course ;)).
that ad was directed at apples base customer though. not all the new ones they plan on getting.

Cool, more software is a good thing. No support for PowerPC users is just unfair, though. :( Oh well, I have no interest in it anyway. Now if it was Photoshop CS3... then I'd be pissed! :p

its a thursday afternoon. Shouldnt the intelligent people be... working?
im a bored college student, not immature kid. A little smartass humor does not hurt in my opinion. Unnecessary one word posts are annoying though.
Maybe I wasn't clear.. yes, that is exactly what I meant.. those who just type two words or less.
I am off today just to let you know.. I work for a large IT firm and I am on a small vacation as I forgot to use up my vacation which accrued from last year.

They are just trying to please the shareholders, without capsizing the boat. I highly doubt we will ever see such an inovative product such as the ipod from Apple again(hardware) It still shocks me that they came out with an MP3 player 5 years ago. One product. There have been a plethora of great products out since not including DAP/MP3 and Apple hasn't had there name on one. I needed a stinking Camera!!!!!!! Though it looks like the MacBooks not Pros are getting a little bump.

Oh wow, the corded ones have a usb jack? I only have the wireless one. Neat!
The corded model has two USB ports, one on each side. I connect my mouse in the left port and from now on USB drives in the right port.

Aperture 1.5 news:
- images can be stored on DVDs or other media
- previews are shown in high quality even if they are stored on DVDs/"offline"
- Aperture Library can be used in media browser of iLife/iWork (iDVD for ex.)
- open API for example for the online ordering of images via internet (through non-Apple services)
- API available through ADC
- new loupe, magnification level no longer tied to specific settings/steps
- better sharpening tool
- meta data handling greatly simplified, presets allow meta data to be assigned to several images etc.
- new full screen comparison mode for several images at once
- loupe shows color information
- new editing functions
- color adjustments can be locked to specific color ranges, preset support
- (cool!) offline media can be "edited", meta data accessible too

Thats a tough one...while a non-apple device will sell better with an airplay compatible badge, its hard to argue that the opposite will drive more sales of iPads. Sorry folks, pay the Apple.

yeah, bring it on.
10.4.7 is a total crap.
It caused kernel panic in my computer and made it behave totally erratic. I had to uninstall back to 10.4.6
I hope the new upgrade will solve many issues that were created by 10.4.7:mad:

Who rates this negative?
Unless I misread the report, basically all Target did was remind the studios that the DVD format is in jeopardy and they better get with the times or Target will. And if studios need Target and Wal-Mart to tell them that, they're in more trouble than I ever thought.
My understanding was different. I take it that they are taking the same stance that Wal-Mart is, and that is that if the movie industry allows iTunes to sell movies, they will make the record companies pay for it (in a negative way). The retailers aren't ready to take on iTunes and the online market, so they are going to use their power to stall the transition to digital downloads as long as they possibly can.
What Target is doing is anti Apple, and more importantly, anti the progression of technology and lifestyle.
