Once that's been settled and a few laughs have been made just ask some simple questions (how do you like working here, do you go to school, are you a psycho and etc). once you guys have a vibe goin on ask her/him if he/she is single. So riddle me this folks:
IF someone is upgraded to the latest version of Snow Leopard (which includes that 'devil-spawn' of and App Store) and Apple is ONLY going to distribute LION thru the App Store - what the hell do you do after you down load it ?
Seeing as how you cannot be running the primary OS while you are in fact upgrading it ?
OR has Apple decided to run a full blown OS Upgrade like it does it regular updates now?
Why is Apple still including DVD Drives in it's Products ? Why not just completely do away w/ them - they've done it before w/ technology ? Maybe there's a reason why the new laptops that recently came out still have those drives in them beyond just burning disks of your kids playing in a bathtub?
Maybe - Apple will bring back Tape Drives - everyone gets a 50-pound case of Tape Media w/ an install of LION (that includes a free Tape Drive) w/ a Centronix to USB adapter and they will be delivered by purple elephants. Awesome.

I really don't think it's an iPad. Given how it appears to be a bright and sunny day and how much light can be seen reflecting off of most other surfaces, the "iPad's" surface seems too matte.

Look, believe it or not I'm a big fan of Apple for the most part but the UGLY way they've handled the APP store was/is just too much for me to not speak my mind about it. Oh and before people start screaming... WELL YOU HAVE A CHOICE... Yea I'm well aware of my rights and freedoms and one of them is to LIKE Apple and their products and STILL speak the truth about their militant behavior they exhibit over the APP store.

I drove past a station today; 218.9 NZ cents per litre (US$6.15 per gallon). I remember when it was 90.9...
If my math was right then that would've been about $2.55 US per gallon. I remember that as well and less.
I remember $1.89 in NY and before I moved to FL and use to visit (2002 and up days) gas down here was like $1.17 a gallon.
Now in Miami gas is about $3.69, down from $3.79 a couple days ago.
These prices are all for regular

In my opinion, I don't think the "iPhone" will have more than 1GB just so that it wouldn't affect the sales of the lower capacity Nanos (the shuffle is an exception because its tiny and has a relatively lower concept).
I think that 1GB would be stupid. That's what's been holding back Music phones the most in my opinion.

Agreed. I also find it absurd that people think we can solve this now as opposed to over time. It took at least 8 years to get where we are, we can't fix it on one.

Yea! And limit their new OS to about 20% of their users.
Not that I can back it up by any numbers, but I would assume that more than 20% of the Macs out there that can run Lion have a USB port ....
EDIT: well, I just saw that the original post was limiting to Thunderbold ... ok, we are not there yet with 100% thunderbolt

- download (MAS or whatever other means)
- USB stick
- DVD
I just think now is the time to think about the future and offer options according to that (along with being the DVD an optional accessory on new Macs). DVDs are just no longer needed for the masses.

This would greatly improve the usability of airplay, in my opinion.
Imagine you had your TV on some random channel, while surfing the internet on your iPad. If your TV supported AirPlay, then you could just click the Airplay button on your iPad, and the random channel would be changed to the Airplay content. You wouldn't have to change the tuners over to Apple TV. Much more convenient.

Just because they are improving this build doesnt mean there aren't some major apps or system features they are not revealing to developers.
They could be updating another version of the OS alongside this one with extra goodness!, and the updates are most likely to be fixes based on what the devs tell them is buggy.
I think they have purposefully left stuff out of Leopard for the moment so that it is even more shocking when it is all revealed at the launch of Leopard! thats what apple does best, shocks the public with "one more thing!"I have to agree. LOL, yea because one of those large chunks of black plastic is soooo much better looking than the other two. None of the current consoles are "good" looking, if we're being totally honest. They are just boxes, that perform a function. Who cares?
Tell that to Steve and see what happens, lol.
I do like the way my Wii looks on the shelf. Its slick, plain, and small. The console itself just looks classy, especially the black wiis. The wiimotes on the other hand.... I keep those in a drawer so they dont stick out like ugly white remotes.
