Here is the update for my case:
Today i received the physical notice.it is a NOID.although online status was showing denial notice sent.
bacically I didn't file AC21 and my previous company revoked I-140(approved)
Eligibility under section 204(j) of the act
the service has determined that you are a benificiary of a visa petition under section 204(a)(1)(F),and that your form I-485 application was pending for more than 180days when the visa petition was revoked. However, absent from the record is evidence which demonstrates that you will be permanently employed in an occupational classification that is the same as ,or similar to,the occupation specified in the visa petition utilized as the basis of your adjustment.in the absence of such evidence, the record fails to demonstrate that you remain eligible for change of employment under section 204(j) of the act.Your application therefore may be denied.
You hereby afforded an opportunity to respond to this intended denial and submit documentry evidence in support of your application for adjustment of status
Evidence of section 204(j) Eligibility
You must submit a letter from the new intended employer describing the permanent employment. This letter should include the job title, the specific duties of the position, the position's educational and /or training requirements, the date your employment first began and the offered wage or Salary.
This letter shall be issued by an officer or executive within the organisation who is authorized to confirm the permanent job Offer
I hope I just need to file AC21

The question that needs to be asked in responding to this kind of attack is: Why would an American firm be so interested in hiring an immigrant. It's not because they love immigrants, or because they pay immigrants less (there is cvlearly no way of getting around that with the Labor certification process), it's because the immigrant is better skilled than available Americans, and will add more value to the company.
It all comes down to what is best for the company. For American companies to compete they need to have the best available talent, not just the best available American born talent.
It's no different than professional sports teams. There are plenty of US born basketball players, so why would a team sign a Dirk Novitsky or Yao Ming? Because they want want the best talent available.

Not true ....you still have not provided any convincing argument. All i hear is you ranting about F1-H1 conversion
How do you know that most of the H-1B's dont have intentions to apply for GC? however you know that most of the guys come here to apply for GC? and you know that personally how?
I am not trying to derail the topic here but unless you can prove that there is a fraud involved in people legitimately converting from F-1 to H-1B your theory is pure BS.
F1 issue:
How do I know ? I personally know lot of people doing that ?
H1 issue:
Again I personally know lot of people including myself.
There is no legitimate route from F1 to GC. There is legitimate route from F1 to H1. It stops right there. Personally I don't have anything against people converting from F1 to GC. It is just illegal/fraud.
If you want further proof, compare the number of F1s returned to India vs F1s who settled here.

I am not being pessimistic but the must pass statement from aila or any other institution was the same last year too.
President bush announced on the national tv last year that he wants a comprehensive immigration reform bill for him to sign by the end of the year.
My thought is to focus on what we can do to push congress for SKIL or a CIR
then being happy on the statements made by papers or other people.
pray..

So, is AR-11 the only form we have to file?
OR
Do we need to take additional steps to make sure the pending 485 petition has the new address as well?

One minute. I am confused.
Can an H4 start working WITHOUT an H1B if their Labor and I-140 gets approved through the GC process????
My Husband has still some time left on his H1 before his 6 years is up (because of the new memo uscis has given decoupling H1 and H4) I'm trying to find a way to extend his H1 beyond 6 years(he doesn't have a LC pending on his name for 365 days)
Thanks

I have heard a LOT of talk on the forums saying "we need more members". I say i DISAGREE.
We do NOT need more members but we need more CONTRIBUTING members and ACTIVE members. Our base can cross even 30K in members but if all the members do, is refresh the visa bulletin page and the IV forums everyday then it is a waste of IV bandwidth and resources. Instead if we have 5,000 members each of whom contribute $20 we have $100,000 straight away.
Something to think about.

I am not kidding. I am not trying to be audacious. This isnt over the top.
Actually, if you read the article below, you will
think that the USCIS should pay us for accepting their
Green-cards and agreeing to stay here in USA. Sounds
Crazy? It wont after you read this.(from Yahoo)
"And let's not forget about immigrants. The workers
who move to the U.S. each year bring with them a
mother lode of education and skills -- human capital
-- for free. One celebrated example is Jonathan Ive,
the man who designed the iPod and iMac. Ive was born
in England and educated at Newcastle Polytechnic
University of Northumbria before joining Apple
Computer Inc. in California in 1992.
Ive is not unique. Most of the workers who immigrate
to the U.S. each year have at least a high school
diploma, while about a third have a college education
or better. Since it costs, on average, roughly
$100,000 to provide 12 years of elementary and
secondary education, and another $100,000 to pay for a
college degree, immigrants are providing a subsidy of
at least $50 billion annually to the U.S. economy in
free human capital. Alternatively, valuing their
contribution to the economy by the total wages they
expect to earn during their lifetime would put the
value of the human capital of new immigrants closer to
$200 billion per year. Either the low or high estimate
would make the current account deficit look smaller."

This is true. I read somewhere many years ago that IITs in India spend atleast 20 to 30 thousand dollars for each student that graduates with B.Tech. 75% of IIT grads are here in USA. Its India's loss. And USA's gain. And yet, we have nonsense like backlogs and expiring fingerprints.

The document does not state how many were USED this year, so its hard to tell if there will be any movement in EB2/3 dates.
