I bought it from willow.TV for $65.( after sending my first money transaction via XOOM)Their steeaming is very good.Once I connected my laptop to TV, it is as good as watching direct Transmission.The video score card feature is very good.
BTW my friend is a dish customer and he got a deal like paying Upfront $149 but $10 reduction in his monthly bill for next 6 months.It all depends on the sales assoicate you get when you calll them and your negotiation skills.

Sidbee, note that airline is not asking a higher fee. What others/everyone in this thread got was a price which was very low due to airline database problem.
Airline asking a high fare is a different issue and not the issue mentioned here.
Issue mentioned here is that airline gave a low fare because of there mistake and later they said it is there mistake, but pay the normal fare.
And normal fare is obviously higher in December for all airlines..

T is for temporary. When attorney enters information on the web site for perm, it creates a case number starting with T so that attorney can keep working on it. So when the attorney send out the application for you to sign, the case number starts with T but when attorney finally submits the case online, in most cases that T in case number gets replaced by A or C or D (as per service center). So try the same case number that you had on ETA form but replace the first alphabet.

Hopefully, it would be passed before Congress goes to recess next month. They have given 18 months to clear the backlog.
I have clocked 15 months in namecheck. Good to know that it is likely to clear in the next 18 months. So a total of 6.5 years to receive GC. Cool.

Good to know that USCIS is working towards it. I definitely agree that things have gotten better.
As far as my case goes - i am doing all the usual stuff, SR, Infopass and next step would be congressman, then senator :D. who knows where my stupid file is stuck :confused:
May be folks will soon have a better system. Still surprises me that in this age, an organization in one of the most technologically advanced countries still cannot process documents in FIFO.

I went thru the same situation recently. But I went to my nearest CBP office (in my case, Newark Intnl airport office) and told the lobby receptionist about the case. She took my passport and i-94 and took it inside. I was then allowed to talk to a Imm officer. It turned out that they are supposed to give you i-94 till latest validity date on your latest 797, but it was their mistake, they promptly corrected it and gave a new i-94 with corrected date to me immediately. You just have to make your case confidently (but be polite) to the imm. office and tell them HONESTLY what the case is. I am sure you will be taken care of.

And the point is the quote "using AC21" means different to different persons, since "AC21" contains a LOT more things. And so the quote "using AC21" leaves to a lot of false interpretations.
What's your point? I said that one can use AC21 and still be in the H1-B status. Are you refuting that statement?

In that case, you can continue to maintain your L1 status and extend it. The reasons your H1 could have been revoked could be a) you chose to enter US on L1 status after your H1 was approved b) Your H1 sponsoring employer is under investigation and they believe they might not have a position open for you anymore c) From your answers, they might have come to a conclusion that the H1 sponsoring process might have been fraudulent (I am assuming this based on your comment that you goofed up while questioning) d) You no longer showed an intention to convert to H1 in the near future.
AFAIK, this should not impact your current status or your L1 extension in anyway.
Thanks for the advice. The goof up I mentioned was that during our conversation I mentioned that at this point due to my commitments I am not converting to my H1 but would do so when things improve.

Hi all,
I would like to get PCC for Canada immigration. I have my passport renewed in NY embassy.
Questions:
1. As embassy will stamp "PCC issued for canada immigration" on passport, is there any problem in future when I enter in to US or go for Visa stamping?
2. If so, can I apply PCC in India using my friends / parents without me being there personally? I am aware that they just issue a certificate and will not stamp anything on passport
3. Should I also apply PCC for my wife who is with me in US since 2005? I will decide whether to apply PCC for her in US or in India based on answers for above questions

I think we should make a video of all his anti-Indian rants and forward them to Indian media so that Indian cable companies ban CNN. It is hard to get noticed by CNN-US but we should target where it hurts more, Indian market. That should teach them a lesson. Indian market is too big to ignore.

According to this link, they are processing I-485 cases (for all) dated back to July 2007. It means if EB-2 India even becomes current in coming months, it will take an extra year to process I-485 before we will get green card. Please correct me if I am wrong.
