watch out..be very careful from the GreenCard point of view and not just entering back into the country..During AOS(485 stage) they look into every aspect as to why did you not enter with the Company B H1 stamping..In fact this was one of the issue one person posted a thread here and is having a tough time now..
that persons problem was different. You are allowed to enter using the H1 stamping of company A even if you are no longer working for them. Whats important in such cases is that you present the I-797 of company B, and make sure that they note that on their records, and possibly write that WAC number behind your I94. If you enter using company A's stamping and company A's I-797, you have effectively changed your status back to company A. Now if you start working for B after entering, THAT is a problem.

Hello !!
To explain my position: I am currently on OPT, and have a H1 approved. My company is in the process of filing Labor Certification for me, and if it goes through I should have a Priority date sometime in August/September. However, I am planning to join a full time MBA program in the coming 2-3 years, which means that I will have to go back to F1 status (in case my GC does not come through before that). In that case, will I be able to retain this Priority date for any future GC filings ?

Yes. PD can be retained.
However, extending or Change of Status to F1 will be difficult once immigrant petition (I-140) is filed for you. F1 Status does not allow immigrant intent.

Guys, I'm planning for a India trip early next year in Feb. My visa stamp has expired in Feb'06 but I have valid H1 till May'08. Assuming I get my AP before I travel, what do you suggest, whether to go for stamping in India for my H1 or come back on AP? Please throw some light.

why is roth ira good if there is no tax benefit for it, what i mean is , isnt traditional IRA good because your AGI reduces and it helps in tax filing....
But if i invest in roth IRA my taxable income does not reduce....
I can as well invest my after tax money in a money market account right, why is roth IRA so good ?

The "forced focus" button is under your right thumb as you are shooting, right next to the auto white balance. it looks like three horizontal dots. You can use the button to toggle through auto, left, center and right focus points.
White balance button, point at something white, press WB button with thumb and press trigger. A little awkward, but I got used to it.

Hi,
I have an approved H1-B petition. But I am currently on my L1-B and haven't yet converted to H1. I intended to continue with my L1 untill I get something good.
However today morning I got a surprise visit from USCIS. There were 2 officers and they had questioned me for about 2 hours. I must admit, I goofed up a bit as I wasn't prepared.
Their questions include like:
1. Why Haven't I switched to H1 yet?
2. If I plan to switch to my H1 now?
3. Do I suspect anything fraud about my sponsor?
4. Have I paid any money?
After all this conversation they informed that my H1 petition will be revoked. They didn't give any clear answers on the reason. But said that I/my employer would get the notice and that would have all the information.
I am not sure how that would impact and what are the options I have! They did reply saying that this shouldnt impact my current status as I havent yet accepted my H1 status.
But I am not sure of this and is unaware of the options that I have. Also I would be applying for a fresh L1 later this year. I am not sure if that would also be impact because of this.
All your advice is highly appreciated.
