Please try to stick to the talking points as they were directly provided by IV Leadership and I am sure that they have done a lot of vetting before coming up with these recommended talking points.
If folks have suggestions, some of them I see are good suggestions, please provide them directly to IV rather than diluting the message on this thread. It has to be a unified voice and the talking points have to be spearheaded by IV...

My lawyers sent a copy of of my 140 receipt and a letter explaining why they should upgrade my 140 petition to premium. Fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear. U ask someone from India to get a letter from the hospital abt ur father health and fax to u. Then take that to local office. They will issue 30days AP. Last yr i did it for my mom. While going plz fill all the AP application as You use to do normally and take with you.

- How can I open another window? they don't have any Show() method like forms :?.
Just realized that windows do have a Show() and ShowDialog() methods, although, unlike Windows Forms, you are forced to make an instance of the window to show.
- When adding a form buttons and other controls have their Win32 look, anyone knows if this is normal? and if so, how can I change the behaviour?
I've read about a couple of classes called ElemenHost and WindowsFormsHost that I don't know if have any relation with this, but I can't seem to be able to use them :S, according to the MSDN they are in the System.Windows.Forms.Integration namespace, and haven't find any Integration package.
Still no luck with the other questions.

Better is ; we all have a voice recorder anyway or even laptop can record the external audio, call them during earlier automated comments , start the recorder then you tell "Be advice that you are being recorded" then record the whole conversation! then use that as the evidence!

Wow...This was a great read. I was told by someone more than 90 years old scholar in my village that Indian history was distorted and Taj Mahal was not built by Shah Jehan, I could not believe him. Anyways, not something that need to be dicussed here but a great read.

IV member boards the cuise ship with two bags, one very large (heavy) one and the other a small one. The cruise manager spots him and comments, "Welcome aboard, you shouldn't have carried such a big bag. we provide most of the stuff you need. You should have decided to travel light". IV member blushes and replies " I know, that is why the small bag is all I have for personal items. The big bag is all my documents to make sure I can reenter US when we return".

We should support these bills whole heartedly. I have visited the local Congressman's office and explained the issue. I have sent letters (not mails) to all the concerned judicial committee members (related to the Issa bill)
Contrary to popular opinion expressed in IV, I was suprised to learn from law makers that many of them feel that the diversity visa is an outdated provision which has no room in today's America.
Can we all write letters to the Congress Rep, Senators and other members who matter, requesting them to support the bills? No opportunity should be missed!
You may draft the letter the way you like but in the subject line please state: "Request to support Bill No. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I repeat and request, signed snail letters are better than Emails! This is slightly painful in this E-age, but it carries much more weight!

Actually, with an approved I-140, you can get 3 year H1b extension, if your priority dates are not current. If your priority dates are current, then you get only 1 year extension. 1 year and 3 year extensions is not related to pending I-485, but related to the priority date being current.
Per my understanding, once you had 3 yet ext.(based on i-140 more then a year or i-140 approved and pending i485) you cannot get another 3 year extension. That is, 3 yr ext is granted only once and after that it is on yearly basis.

hopefully its not a big deal, i was just surprised to see so many emails from them after a silence of 2 odd years and yes :mad: , they have been known to loose (even shred) a lot of files during transfers.

Check if the contract duration is 2 years (after joining / after you resign)? Most big Indian IT companies have a clause in their contract wherein you cannot join/accept offers from their customers for a minimum of X years after you quit. As usual, there are always exception cases.
